What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an extra layer of security that protects your Liveforce account beyond just a password. It requires two steps to confirm your identity when logging in:

  1. Something you know – your password.

  2. Something you have – a verification code sent to your phone or authenticator app.

This combination makes it much harder for attackers to gain access to your account, even if your password is compromised.

Why Crew Accounts Matter for Crew Accounts


Crew members store sensitive personal information within Liveforce, including contact details, work history, and payment preferences. A single weak or stolen password can put this information at risk.

By enabling 2FA, crew members significantly reduce the chance of:

  • Account takeover – Prevents unauthorized logins from stolen credentials.

  • Data theft – Protects personal and financial details stored in the app.

How it Works?


When 2FA is enabled, logging in will follow this flow:

  1. Enter your username and password as usual.

  2. A one-time code is sent to your email address.

  3. Enter the code to complete the login process.

Even if someone has your password, they can’t access your account without that second factor.

Getting Started

Crew members can activate 2FA in the Profile  section of the Liveforce Crew App.

  • Navigate to PROFILE > PASSWORD

  • Toggle the Enable 2FA button to the ON position and click SAVE.

  • Once enabled, each login will prompt for both password and code.

Final Word

Passwords alone are no longer enough to keep accounts safe. Enabling Two-Factor Authentication is one of the simplest and most effective steps crew members can take to secure their Liveforce accounts.
