Security Best Practice
Simple Steps To Keep Your Liveforce Account And Personal Data Secure.
Your Liveforce account holds personal details you've shared with the agencies you work with — things like your contact details, documents, and sometimes payment information. Here's how to keep that information safe and stay in control of what you share.
Protect your login
-
Use a strong, unique password for your Liveforce account — don't reuse a password from another site.
-
Never share your login details with anyone else, even a colleague or friend also registered with the same agency. Each person should have their own account.
-
If you think someone else has accessed your account, change your password straight away and contact Support via the HELP icon.
Turn on Two-Factor Authentication
Your password is only half the picture. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds a second check at login — a one-time code sent to your email — so that even if someone gets hold of your password, they still can't get into your account.
It takes a couple of minutes to set up: go to Profile > Password in the Crew App and toggle Enable 2FA on.
→ See Security - Two-Factor Authentication for the full walkthrough.
Know what you're sharing, and why
Agencies can only ask you for the information they've set up as required in their profile settings — you'll see this reflected in what's asked of you at application versus once you're approved. If a request for information ever feels unusual or unrelated to the job you're applying for, it's fine to ask the agency directly why they need it
Manage your own privacy settings
You're in control of your own profile. From your Profile page in the Crew App you can:
-
Review exactly what information an agency holds about you
-
Update or correct any details that are wrong or out of date
-
Manage your document uploads and see which agencies have access to them
Keeping this up to date isn't just good practice — it also makes sure the right agencies see accurate information about you when you apply for jobs.
Watch out for suspicious messages
Liveforce and agencies will only ever contact you through the app or your registered email/phone number. Be cautious of:
-
Messages asking you to pay money to "confirm" a job or booking
-
Requests for banking details or passwords sent outside the app
-
Links that don't take you to the official Liveforce login
If anything looks off, don't click through — contact Support via the HELP icon to check.
Delete your account when you no longer need it
If you're no longer working with an agency and don't plan to use Liveforce again, you can request account deletion rather than leaving an inactive profile with your data sitting on the platform.
→ See 'I want to delete my Liveforce account'
A quick checklist
-
Is your password strong and unique to Liveforce?
-
Is your profile information accurate and up to date?
-
Have you reviewed which agencies currently have access to your profile?
-
Would you recognise a suspicious message if you got one?
A few minutes checking these every so often keeps your account, and your data, secure.
