# Data Validation Migration

## By The End Of This Guide, Admins Will Be Able To Migrate Existing Crew Data Into Data Validation Fields.

Data Validation Migration allows Admins to combine existing Data Types into a Subsection, so existing Crew data can be used with Data Validation without Crew needing to resubmit their information.

Before you migrate, make sure the destination Section, Subsection, and Data Types already exist, and that the Profile is published. The migration will not work unless these requirements are met.

 On the Profile page, click the DATA VALIDATION MIGRATION button in the top right,

In the Data Validation Migration pop-up, select the Profile and Subsection you want to migrate from the drop down menu.
